It shouldn't be too hard what I designed this for, keeping the title in mind.

Gig promo adverts

I designed this for a friend, its for a gig night in Belfast city center.

The guy who asked me to make these had already pretty much made the design idea up, I just put my own spin on it. In the end I was unsure about my choice of font but I think it turned out quite nicely.

Note: I added this black/grey version also, the two work well together.

Futura poster

This poster was also designed for my diploma work.

Futura is as much an art-house font as is possible to find, its not hard to see how I came to this design if you keep that in mind.

Arial black poster

This poster was designed for my diploma work.

Arial black (and Arial standard for that matter) is considered to be somewhat cold and technical, that in mind I decided to make something reminiscent of film noir art, mainly to demonstrate that any font can be used for art and design.
